This module will teach a critical appreciation of the wider societal implications of investigation and reporting decisions of the ethics, bias and impact of investigative decisions and conclusions. An ability to maintain professional integrity and high ethical standards to the application of forensics analysis and privacy principles to organisational requirements.

Upon registering your interest, you will be contacted by one of Cyber Skills Programme Coordinators requesting your CV, including details of any courses/certificates taken to date that are related to the course, and a brief motivational statement explaining why you would like to do the course.

Acceptance is pending the completion of an application form and upload of your transcripts of third level results, as well as evidence of any relevant cyber security courses you have completed, to the OLAPPS portal once it becomes available. Recognition of prior learning in lieu of a related third level course is also considered on an individual basis once a student has applied.

The full cost of this course is EU 3,500/ Non EU 5,000. Please note that applicants will be required to pay an acceptance fee of €250 online if a place on a course is offered. This fee is deductible from the overall course fee. You will not be charged for registering your interest or applying for the programme, you are only asked to pay an acceptance fee if a place is offered to you and you wish to accept it.
