We are thrilled to announce that Cyber Skills has been nominated in the Cybersecurity Skills category for the prestigious Digital Skills Awards 2024! It's an honour to be recognized among top companies across Europe.

In a virtual gathering, we celebrated the exceptional nominees for this year's awards, acknowledging the remarkable contributions made by various organizations. These efforts are instrumental in empowering individuals, organizations, and communities throughout Europe. The celebration highlighted the impressive achievements of digital skills initiatives, setting the stage for a future where we all contribute to equipping Europeans with the knowledge and expertise needed in this demanding digital age.

This year, the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform received an impressive 267 applications across various categories. The European Digital Skills Awards 2024 aims to recognize and promote the outstanding work of organizations that have significantly advanced digital skills through innovative projects, programs, and initiatives. These range from basic digital literacy, such as using a computer or tablet, to training ICT specialists in cutting-edge technologies like AI, blockchain, and data science. The vibrant community of organizations, trainers, and educators is pivotal in fostering digital growth across Europe. The Awards' objective is to showcase exemplary practices and encourage mutual learning among participants.

The applications were categorized as follows:

  • Cybersecurity Skills - projects that empower people, employees, and SME managers with essential cybersecurity skills.
  • Digital upskilling at Work - digital upskilling and reskilling initiatives in various sectors, facilitation of job placement of ICT professionals of all levels.
  • Digital Skills for Education - projects specifically aimed at digital upskilling for teachers and/or students and school administrations.
  • Inclusion in the Digital World- digital training and media literacy initiatives for the elderly, unemployed, vulnerable groups, accessibility.
  • Women in ICT Careers - projects specifically aimed at increasing the number of women ICT professionals or for the digital upskilling of women in the workforce or younger women in ICT.

Congratulations to our fellow nominees in the Cybersecurity Skills category, ISC2, Unbreakable Romania, PTSOC and Secure Practice EU. We cannot wait to travel to Brussels on for the announcement of the winners.
