Dr. Amrita Ghosal

Dr. Amrita Ghosal is a Lecturer of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Limerick (UL), Ireland. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, India in 2015. After her Ph.D., she was a Post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Padua, Italy, where she worked in EU and Huawei funded projects. She joined the University of Limerick as a Marie Skłodowska Curie fellow in 2021 and became Lecturer in 2023. Amrita’s primary research focuses on security and privacy for mobile and wireless networks, cyber-physical systems, and autonomous vehicles. In these areas, she has published more than 50 papers in high quality journals and refereed conference proceedings. She also has co-authored a number of book chapters.
