About the Course
Designed to provide the experienced Systems Architect with the cybersecurity skills needed to design Secure IT Systems.
This pathway provides in depth knowledge of cryptographical algorithms and protocols providing the learner with detailed knowledge in order to assess the correct type and usage of cryptography.
Information security architecture is a priority for every organisation large and small thus we have provided a module on the specific aspect of systems architecture.

A level 8 qualification in Computer Science or cognate discipline with modules on programming or software development or the equivalent knowledge, skill and abilities gained through work experience.
A minimum of 3 years post-qualification work experience which includes a minimum of 1 year’s active exposure to Systems Architecture.
This pathway is designed for experienced ICT professionals so a prove n track record in designing ICT systems is required alongside a relevant formal qualification.
